We're seeking volunteers to help us bring Foxlease Park to life!

We'll have an ongoing need for volunteer support over the coming months; however, initially, we're seeking people who are 18 years of age or older and who are able to assist with the initial manual tasks which we'll have, such as cleaning, clearing, inventorying, sorting, painting, heavy gardening and light repairs. 

 

All volunteers will undergo an induction and training as needed and, whilst you won't be asked to do anything you are not comfortable with, at the moment we're seeking "all-rounder" volunteers rather than people applying for specific tasks. 

We're asking anyone initially able to help us to get in touch with our Volunteer Coordinators, using the form below, or by emailing: volunteers@foxlease.uk with the information requested below.  One of our Volunteer Coordinator Team will then be in touch to share further information and to discuss your availability before agreeing with you when we would like to you to attend site, if you are able to. 

We're seeking people to volunteer during daytime hours only and there will be opportunities from Monday to Saturday; subject to availability we may be able to offer accommodation in The Gatehouse on site for volunteers during their time with us, for a suggested donation of £5 per person per night to contribute towards our electricity and oil costs for that accommodation.  The Gatehouse is self-catering and bedding is required.  It must be pre-booked via our Volunteer Coordinator when you arrange your dates with us.

We're also seeking volunteers with the following trades and/or certificated experience, who may be able to assist us:-

- Roofer for minor slate repairs;

- Gutter repairs;

- PAT Tester for small domestic items - thank you to Graham for his help on this;

- Tree surgeon - thank you to Rick and Robin;

- Painters and Decorators (internal and external);

- Tarmac / surfacing repairs - thank you to Mo;

- Fencing contractor;

- Structural engineer;

- Health and Safety consultant - thank you to Andy;

- Vinyl flooring repairs;

- Plumber (small repairs);

- Building surveyor - thank you to Isabelle;

- Licensed chain saw operator;

- Bricklayer;

- Window cleaner;

- Tractor driver and

- General volunteer - thank you to everyone who has volunteered or been on site so far!

In due course, in the spring, we'll be opening applications for more specific volunteering roles, and we hope to then have youth volunteering opportunities too.
