Day 25 - The day Foxie joined the Magician Electrician (or when we were 1/4 of the way to opening).
We're 1/4 of the way to the start of our phased opening next year and we've got so much more to do between now and then. We've got lists upon lists and plans upon plans to help us get there and more volunteers and donations coming forwards all the time. We've used today to take stock of where we are and regroup - we're making good progress and we're on track but at this point continuous reviewing and replanning is necessary to ensure that we're moving as effectively as possible to deliver in line with our aims.
We've got over 60 bookings in now and more enquiries coming in all the time - early booking really is one of the best ways to support us as it helps our cashflow, which is really needed in this period before we're open. We've also launched today the announcement regarding the 24-Hour Sing Fundraiser taking place in support of us in January next year - it's a virtual event so we're really hoping that those further afield, including our wonderful international supporters will be able to attend.
We had our Magician Electrician back on site starting our (rather endless) list of PAT Testing for us, which was amazing! As you can see, Foxie got involved too! We're also tracking some areas of damp and leaks in various buildings, some more expected than others, to try and ensure that we're on top of these and can call out for support of trades and skilled volunteers to help us resolve any issues and keep Foxlease Park lovely.
