Another successful day for Foxie's on site crew; large numbers on site again and lots of activity.  We had a large number working hard in The Coach House finishing the first deep clean of the kitchen, the shared space and the bathroom areas and then some action from the Rug Doctor, starting on the carpets upstairs.  All of the removed curtains so far had a proper assessment for any repairs needed from our expert volunteers and lots are ready to be washed and ironed when we have our designated volunteers with us in the New Year.

We then had a fab team of two working their way round with the Polyfilla, repairing all the small holes in The Lodge and The Coach House ready for sanding and preparation for painting in the New Year.  They then managed great progress in cleaning up some of The Coach House courtyard in the afternoon.

We also had another team of two kitting out The Gatehouse from our on site kitchen supplies to make sure it has enough crockery for when our volunteers from further afield come to stay and we ticked off a whole load of the minor repairs and deep cleaning jobs still outstanding there  - we've also had The Gatehouse's boiler inspected and cleared and so we now know that we'll soon be ready in the New Year to start occupation!  We've still got lots of volunteer offers to contact and we are working through those as quickly as we can.

In addition to the mould removed in parts of The Coach House and The Gatehouse, we also had yet another fab duo working on cleaning the mould off of the ceiling in the boot room/vestibule to the side entrance to Foxlease House and it actually looks nearly white again! They then had to clean the whole room again to get rid of all the residue and mould flakes and Mt. PPE of the Amazon Mountain Range definitely came into its own today but the end result looks great and we can't wait to start using the space more actively.

We also had a little wander to take a couple of photos whilst we were emptying dehumidifiers around the building (see above).

More excitement tomorrow, Love Foxie x
